A Festive Work Outfit
Sometimes, you just want to be in a holiday mood. And of course, the way I express my mood is through my clothing – but how do you wear a festive work outfit and not become ‘that girl’?
Eh, I’m already ‘that girl.’
But one thought? Avoid the traditional red and green and just combine one or the other with a neutral for a festive look that won’t wander into ‘ugly sweater party’ territory.
Add a ‘festive’ detail like a full skirt and feathered belt…
And go easy on the baubles, lest you look like you’re just ready too party a lil’ too early in the day.
Jacket: Gap, Bag, blouse: J Crew, Skirt: Issac Mizrhai for Target (super old,) Belt: Kimchi and Blue via Urban Outfitters, Shoes: White House Black Market, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Roberto Coin via BBK
What have I missed? How do you dress festively for the office without going over the top?
And how cool are these misty pictures? My dear friend Khalid of EatPomegranate Photography took them using ONLY HIS iPHONE. Seriously, he’s that talented. He’s also got a 25% off sale on some of his cool images right now that you should check out and consider gifting to your art-loving friends and family! Use the code ILOVEPOM in his market to get the discount.
Happy Holidays, y’all!

very sound advice, especially combining red and green…. doomed to look like an elf or an elementary school teacher. must admit, though, i always pile the baubles on, no matter the time of year; makes me feel more glamorous in my tiny cubicle.
I love the feathers on your belt! Great look! If you get a sec, I’d love to hear your thought on my latest post. xo
